- editor's comments:- the first time I heard of DoveBid was when I ran a
press release
about an auction of servers and equipment just 3 days after 9/11. (After days
of being dazed and watching tv news - about those horrific events - going back
to work was a way of trying to think about something else.)
In those
days (in 2001 - before 9/11) recycling stuff from failed dotcom companies was a
very good business.
The economy, now, in mid September 2008 has all
the hallmarks of starting another recession. That means users have to be more
careful - because they've got less money - and they had to work harder to get
it.
Due to an oversight - I didn't include server recycling auctions

good for the environment as well as being good for your wallet.
