Intrinsity

Founded in Austin, Texas, in 1997, Intrinsity, Inc. is a semiconductor technology provider of circuit and EDA technology for ultra fast microprocessors. Shortly after founding, the company closed its first round of funding with a long-term NRE-based design services contract with a major semiconductor company. Its proprietary technology yields power-efficient circuits that operate at three times the speed of conventional designs while achieving the highest performance per unit of silicon with wire speed operation. This technology is available only through design services partnerships and IP licensing, although the company does plan on developing its own products in the future.
