SBS' Omnispan 64-bit / 33 MHz PCI expansion kits provide seven additional PCI slots to PCI systems. Omnispan components provide additional slots for CompactPCI host systems.

Omnispan expansion products are engineered to lower overall system cost by increasing the number of PCI slots while reducing the need for additional host systems. Featuring 266 MB/s throughput and low latency, Omnispan provides true real-time performance. Plus, Omnispan supports cable lengths up to 5 meters. Omnispan is available as a complete kit or as individual components.

• Up to 266 MB/s throughput & low latency for real-time performance. Independent operation of host bus and expansion buses for maximum performance.

• Industrial 19-inch rack-mount enclosure with 300 watt power supply with provision for 5V and 3.3V, and PCI backplane with integrated controller.

• Seven 64 bit 33 MHz PCI slots

• Two 26db ball bearing 42.5 CFM fans for cooling PCI cards in addition to power supply fan.

• Short form factor PCI host card capable of 33 MHz or 66 MHz operation.

• Host supports universal signaling (3.3V and 5V).

• Round-Robin (RRS) arbitration provided for the PCI bus in the chassis.

• Operation at nominal input line voltages of 115V or 230V (a switch on the rear panel controls this setting).

• Power monitoring circuits to prevent spurious cycles from appearing on the host bus while the expansion chassis is powering up or down.

• Supports cable lengths up to 5 meters; 2-meter flexible round cable included.

• Manual included in kit.
